COPAKE – The Two Of Us Productions, the award-winning theater company based in Columbia County, NY, is pleased to present their 2022 live virtual play. Our 4th episode features two thrilling radio dramas from the Suspense Theatre: “On A Country Road” and “To find help”. This performance is presented on Saturday evening April 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in collaboration with the Roving Actors’ Repertory Ensemble (RARE) Inc.

“On A Country Road” introduces us to a friendly couple, David & Dorothy, husband & wife. They are just trying to get home before the rain falls. When they hit a roadblock, David decides to take a shortcut through the countryside while anxiously watching the approaching storm. Driving along the shortcut, they hear a radio report of gruesome murders by a deranged woman who has escaped and is at large on the very road they are on!

“To Find Help” is the story of Mrs. Gillis, a widow who rents rooms in her house to make ends meet. She needs a little help around the house and is happy to have hired a nice young man named Howard to help her. It turns out Mrs. Gillis is getting something very different from the help she was looking for!

The Two Of Us Productions is well known throughout the Hudson Valley for presenting quality theater, both musicals and dramas.
