Don’t miss this performance by the East Rand Youth Orchestra

The East Rand Youth Orchestra, conducted by conductor Pienaar Fourie, will perform Sing, Benoni, Sing! March 12.

This year the orchestra will have a special Easter, after two years of lean and restricted gigs due to Covid-19.

“We are honored to be the first public orchestra to play in the Jatniël church in Benoni,” said Fourie.

“Furthermore, this is the first time we can invite people of all faiths to join us in this expanded celebration. The 3,500-seat parish hall is an architectural masterpiece, and the facilities and the sound are amazing.

Guests can expect beautiful music for moments of reflection and gratitude.

There will be communal praise and worship, with talented soloists and instrumentalists leading the singing.

With the expanded orchestra providing the accompaniment, the audience can unite in the driving climaxes.

There is no gap and the concert will also be broadcast to churches around the world.

Numbers are limited to 1,000.
